My Friend’s House is one of the last stand-alone residential group-homes in Middle Tennessee, level 1 facility. Located near downtown Franklin, our agency has been helping children for over 15 years and served over 1,400 children in need.
My Friend’s House believes in the worth and value of children and their families. Our primary focus is the safety and stability, both emotionally and physically, of children. My Friend’s House strives to break the cycle of sexual and physical abuse, and dependency and neglect that these children have had to endure. We are committed to the concept that a comprehensive home-like setting is beneficial and necessary to children who have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect.
The agency serves a population of adolescent males from the ages of 12-18 years of age. Most of the children the agency serves are in the custody of the State of Tennessee; however, private placements from families are also accepted. The majority of children the agency serves are from Middle Tennessee. The length of stay at My Friend’s House is between 6 to 8 months.
